Paul performs a style of magic known as mentalism; Mentalism is a form of magic which uses little in the way of apparatus, usually just some paper, pens, pencils envelopes and…..your thoughts. With as little as this he will have you mesmerised. You will believe he can read minds.

  Example1: You draw a picture place it into an envelope and hold on to it. Paul takes a pad and a pen and starts to scribble down his thoughts. The envelope is opened and the drawings compared they are spookily alike.

Example 2: You think of a time in your life, anything from childhood to the present day, he writes something on a pad...his thoughts match yours.

Example 3: He talks of how mediums would go into a trance and then were able to receive thoughts from the real or spirit worlds, Paul invites someone to monitor his pulse, he borrows a watch from a spectator and proceeds to slow his pulse down until it stops, but wait the watch stops at the same time, has time stopped or is it just an illusion, either way when the pulse starts again so does the watch and all in the world is normal again.

Paul has performed this for surgeons, doctors, nurses, first raider's, and all of them were stunned. The usual response was one of concern as to his well being, but rest assured he was in control at all times.

Paul performed some of his mentalism act in his one man show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
